Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
After being inspired initially through the shadows she saw on the grass of trees She worked over a period of months to develop a technique which did not depict the object in a 2D image. The subject becomes a replica that is its own with the canvas carrying the painterly interpretation of the object, especially in the case of a living item or something perishable, like people or fruit. Her ephemeral art style is apparent and what survives in Alexa Meade's work is the photographic image. As the photographic and painting techniques are coordinated so closely it creates the trompe-l'oeil effect where it appears as if three dimensions is only visible at certain locations, like the area around the eyes or hair. At times, Meade integrates her painted models with the 3-dimensional environment around them, which allows the models to be part of the self-created universe. Through this, Meade is able to blur the lines between painting, photography and performing.
