Lindsey-Vonn

Born on October 18, 1984 American Alpine skier Lindsey Vonn who is now retired, won the title of four World Cup competitions and the downhill gold medal in the 2010 Winter Olympics. She is second in the world for super scores amongst female or male skiers. She's one of the world's greatest skiers as well as the most loved American skier. Caroline Vonn who is also known as Lindsey Vonn and competes as an Olympic skier with the US Ski Team. Four times she has been crowned the winner of the World Cup overall competition. She is an athlete who has made an impact within American society. She is only one of six women who have been crowned at every single event on the World Cup circuit. In total, she's been awarded 82 World Cup championships. World-class athlete and one of the most successful ski racers have decided to retire after the World Championships that take place in Sweden. The onset of a series of health issues led the four-time World Cup Overall Champion to decide that she would retire. The announcement of her retirement came on social media. This week, I'll be racing in my last races to end my career in the Downhill World Championships, as well as in the SG World Championships held in Re Sweden.
